What Founder Hud is
Founder Hud is a Mac app for small teams who talk many times a day. It lives in your menu bar, shows who's online, and rings a teammate's Mac when you call them.
What you can do with it
- See who's around. Faces in the menu bar and on People show who's online, away or in a call. See Presence.
- Call in one click. Click Call and your teammate's Mac rings with Accept and Decline. Calls hold up to 8 people. See Calls that ring.
- Share your screen with sound. Pick a window, an app or a whole display. A demo or a video plays with its sound for everyone. See Share your screen.
- Work on the share together. Everyone gets a cursor in their own color. Draw, box, comment or drop a sticky. See Point, draw and comment.
- Keep what was said. Turn on transcripts and your Mac writes notes with a summary, decisions and to-dos when the call ends. See Transcripts and notes.
Founder Hud also has team chat, to-dos, notes and files. Connect your existing coding agent through the local file bridge: Agents and scripts includes instructions for AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md. The in-app Guide covers the rest: open it with ⌘?.
Where it runs
Founder Hud is a native Mac app for macOS 26 on Apple Silicon. There is no Windows, Linux or browser version.

How it works
Calls of 2 or 3 people go directly between Macs, encrypted end to end. From 4 people, calls go through Cloudflare's media servers. Your team's hub, a server we run on Cloudflare, handles presence, ringing and chat. It never carries call audio, video or screen shares. See Encryption and your data.
