Viewing a share
When a teammate shares, their screen shows in the call window, above the cameras. The window grows to fit the share and comes to the front, and it goes back to its size when the share stops.
The share in the call window
Their screen is as large as the window allows. The controls over it float, like a video player's: they hide when the mouse rests for 5 seconds and come back when you move the mouse or press a key. The screen never moves when they do.
- Top left: whose screen it is, how long the call has run, and who is here. Its menu asks for remote control, switches to another screen, picks the quality you watch in, and opens Call settings.
- Bottom: the drawing tray with Point, Draw and Toys. Draw holds the pen, highlighter, Box, Arrow, Text, Eraser, Comment, the sticky pad and Clear mine (drawing tools). Toys holds the toys, your pet and Utils.
Your Mic, Camera, Share and Leave stay in the call window's bar at the top, as in any call.
When several people share, the bar shows each share, and one shows at a time. Click another share in the bar, or pick it under Switch to in the menu at the top left.
Quality per viewer
On a direct connection, you pick the quality you watch in, from the menu at the top left or in Call settings. It doesn't change what anyone else gets.

Founder Hud remembers your pick for each person on this Mac. The Quality row in that menu shows what arrives, such as "1920×1080 · 30 fps", and says when the network or the sharer's computer can't keep up.
In calls of 4 or more, the share goes through a media server that sends everyone the same versions, so the quality row doesn't show.
Sound
In the call window's sidebar, open People, click the screen button next to Open on Sam's row, and drag the volume. It sets how loud the share plays for you.
Chat
The Chat button in the call window's bar opens and closes the call's sidebar beside the share, with Chat, Transcript and People at its top. Press ⇧⌘C to do the same. The message box stays at the bottom on Chat and Transcript, so you can answer while you read the transcript. Press Esc while typing to close the sidebar. Its ··· menu copies the transcript.
To have the chat open every time a teammate starts sharing, turn on "Open chat when a share starts" in Call settings.
